Itinerary
Meet your driver and depart Tangier, driving through the scenic Rif Mountains and Tetouan’s charming villages. Arrive in Chefchaouen, visit Ras El Ma waterfall, stroll the calm blue streets of the Medina, and admire authentic Moroccan handicrafts and architecture influenced by Jewish culture. Overnight in a 4-star riad or hotel.
Travel through the Rif Mountains, passing Meknes, Moulay Idriss Zerhoun (Morocco’s holiest town), and the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Arrive in Fes for a traditional Fassi dinner and overnight in a 4-star riad.
Journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains, visiting Berber villages such as Immouzer and Midelt. Explore Ifrane (“Moroccan Little Switzerland”) and the cedar forests of Azrou. Continue to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Enjoy a camel trek at sunset and dinner in a luxury desert camp with a Berber folklore show under the stars.
Wake early to witness the sunrise over the dunes. Return to Merzouga for breakfast and a shower. Travel to Rissani’s colorful souks, then explore the dramatic Todra Gorges cliffs. Continue to the lush Dades Valley for dinner and overnight in a 4-star hotel or guesthouse.
After breakfast, visit Skoura’s Kasbah Amridil and enjoy a local lunch. Explore Ouarzazate’s old souks and the famous film studios. Visit the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Cross the Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass and arrive in Marrakech to conclude your tour.
