Chefchaouen lies about 110 km from the port, so the drive takes around two hours each way. The route passes Tetouan and then climbs into the Rif mountains. Driving times change with traffic, roadworks and the time of day. That is why we plan the whole day backwards from your all-aboard time.

Founded in 1471 at the foot of the Rif, Chefchaouen is famous for its blue-washed lanes. You explore the historic medina at your own pace: Outa el Hammam square, the walls of the kasbah, stairways and doorways in every shade of blue, and the Ras El Ma spring at the edge of town.
