From Malaga or Seville the day is long: a night in Tangier or Chefchaouen makes the trip much more enjoyable. Malaga also has a direct flight to Tangier of about 50 minutes; we then meet you with our Tangier airport transfer.
Ferry, time and paperwork
The ferry ticket is booked in your name by us (full name and passport number of each traveller) or bought by you. In strong easterly winds sailings can be cancelled, and the trip is then rescheduled. Which ferry should I take from Spain?
For a day trip, take the Tarifa – Tangier Ville ferry (Baleària or AML, about 1 hour): it lands in the city centre. Ferries from Algeciras arrive at Tanger Med, about 45 km from the city.
Can you arrange the transfer in Spain?
Yes, on request: a partner operator drives you from Malaga, Marbella, Seville, Cadiz or Gibraltar to Tarifa port. BBK Tours runs the whole Moroccan part.
What documents do I need?
A valid passport. ID cards are not accepted to enter Morocco.
What is the time difference?
Since 20 September 2026 Morocco stays on GMT: Spain is one hour ahead in winter and two hours ahead in summer.
