Finding a reliable driver when you land in Morocco is not always easy. A tourist transport agency in Morocco saves you the haggling, the waiting and the surprises: the vehicle is booked, the price is fixed and the driver is waiting for you. You still need to pick the right one, so here are the seven checks we suggest to our own guests.

Why use a tourist transport agency in Morocco?
Taxis are fine for short hops in town, but they are not designed for a family with suitcases, a group or a full day of sightseeing. A specialised agency plans the whole journey instead: meet and greet at the airport or port, photo stops, waiting time during your visits and the ride back to your hotel. Moreover, you pay per vehicle, not per person.
7 checks before you book a tourist transport agency
- A licensed company. Carrying tourists is a regulated activity in Morocco. Ask whether the business is a tourist transport company rather than a taxi or a ride-hailing driver.
- Insured passengers. Vehicles should be insured for tourist passenger transport.
- Recent, air-conditioned vehicles. In summer, air conditioning is essential, especially on long drives to Fes or Marrakech.
- Professional drivers. Punctual, discreet and able to speak your language.
- A fixed written price. Fuel and tolls should be included, with no hidden extras.
- Arrival tracking. A good operator follows your flight or ferry and adjusts the pick-up time if you are late.
- Verified reviews. Read recent comments on Google and Tripadvisor.
How we work in Tangier
Our team is based in Tangier, the gateway to northern Morocco. Our transport in Tangier covers arrivals, day trips and tours across the country. For example, the Tangier airport transfer includes a meet and greet with a name sign, while a private driver by the hour or by the day stays with you to explore the city. For large families and associations, our group transport uses vans and Sprinter minibuses.
How much does tourist transport from Tangier cost?
Prices are per vehicle and per way, for 1 to 3 passengers: €40 from the airport to the city centre, €70 for Tangier to Tetouan and €90 for Tangier to Chefchaouen. For 4 to 7 or 8 to 17 passengers, a van or a minibus takes over at an adjusted fare. Finally, you pay the driver on the day: no online payment is required.
To plan your trip, the official tourism board website, Visit Morocco, is a good source of ideas. And if you want to know us better, read our About us page.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a taxi and a tourist transport agency?
A taxi carries passengers in town or on fixed routes. A tourist transport agency is allowed to drive travellers on transfers, day trips and tours, with a vehicle booked for you, a price agreed in advance and a driver waiting for you.
Do I have to pay in advance?
Not with BBK Tours: you receive a written confirmation with the price and pay the driver on the day, in euros or dirhams.
How far ahead should I book?
A few days ahead is ideal, especially in summer and during school holidays. For a last-minute request, message us on WhatsApp: we reply within two hours, 7 days a week.
